Elinor Batteries joins RENERGY: Committed to green battery production in Europe

Elinor Batteries develops batteries and energy storage solutions with sustainability at the core. The company has joined RENERGY to strengthen collaboration and accelerate green energy technology.

Norwegian battery expertise with European ambitions

With headquarters in Trondheim and sustainability as its foundation, Elinor Batteries develops advanced battery and storage solutions for, among other things, stationary energy use. The company aims to be part of the solution to Europe’s growing need for green and stable energy supply.

We have chosen to join RENERGY because we know the cluster’s work and see great value in being part of it. We also believe we can contribute positively as a member, says CEO Arne Fredrik Lånke.

Elinor Batteries has a clear vision of helping to move battery production from Asia to Europe. With a rapidly growing market, the company sees opportunities to build both value chains and competence environments on European soil, with Norwegian roots.

Collaboration for common progress

Elinor wants to contribute with expertise in battery technology and energy storage, while also expanding its network and strengthening collaboration with other RENERGY stakeholders.

The energy transition is a major and demanding joint effort. RENERGY represents a forward-looking platform where players who share our vision of sustainable energy production and use can work together towards common goals. Together, we can have influence at national and Nordic levels, says Lånke.

We want to contribute with our competence and experience from developing and scaling up green technology. Through collaboration, we believe it is possible to accelerate electrification and make better use of renewable energy sources, he adds.
